Magnum Bold 300

Magnum Bold 300 (also known under the brand name Equipoise, Boldabol, Boldebal, Boldenesten, Ganabol, Boldoger) is an anabolic steroid developed for veterinary use. The drug was created as a long-acting version of Methandrostenolone, but the result was a steroid that has completely different properties, despite the chemical similarity of the molecules. Boldenone is a Dianabol molecule that is devoid of the 17-alpha methyl group (this part of the molecule makes it possible for Dianabol to pass through the liver without breaking). If we compare the effectiveness of Boldenone Undecylenate and Dianabol, the results obtained in weight gain and increase in strength are almost the same.

Equipoise is chemically a testosterone molecule that has a double bond between 1 and 2 carbon atoms. This modification made boldenone as powerful as testosterone, by its anabolic properties, while the androgenic properties of the drug are twice as weak. Nevertheless, practice shows that Equipoise produces lower results than an equivalent amount of testosterone.

Magnum Bold 300 mg is often compared to Nandrolone, obviously, this is due to the book Dan Duchaine, where the author draws parallels between these two drugs, noting that boldenone is a stronger anabolic. In reality, Boldenone and Nandrolone act differently. Nandrolone is a progestin and a 19-nor steroid, while Boldenone is closer to testosterone. Later, Dan Duchaine changed his mind about the similarity of drugs, but on the forums you can still find messages in which it is not recommended to combine Boldenone and Nandrolone because of the similarity. Dan Duchaine also writes that Equipoise is more suited for relief and venous rendering than for muscle gain.

New forms of the drug: boldenone acetate and boldenone propionate have the same effects, the difference lies only in the duration of action.

The double bond between 1 and 2 carbon atoms is responsible for many properties of Equipoise. First of all, it inhibits the process of flavoring (turning into estrogen) drug. If you compare with testosterone, the conversion level of boldenone is two times lower. Athletes almost never notice the side effects of boldenone associated with estrogen (gynecomastia, edema, increased pressure), even if the dose of the drug reaches 1 g per week. This means that during the course of Equipoise there is no need to take anti-estrogens.

Low androgenic activity allows women to use equipoise. Virilization phenomena occur quite rarely compared to other drugs. Boldenone is one of the few injectables that can be used in female bodybuilding with the lowest risk of side effects.

The same double bond provides Ekvipoise resistance to the enzyme 5-alpha reductase. This enzyme converts a small amount of boldenone to dihydroboldenone, which is a powerful androgen (7 times more powerful than testosterone). Therefore, the drug practically does not cause such androgenic side effects as baldness, acne, prostate hypertrophy, etc., and also to a lesser extent suppresses testosterone production in the body.
